The Twining family of tea merchants lived in Twickenham until 1889. They bought a number of local properties including the building which now houses the Twickenham Museum.

This displa tells the story of the Twining family in Twickenham and is accompanied by a small display of antique teapots and tea wares dating between 1700 and 1870. It includes porcelain from the Kangxi period (1662-1722), Meissen porcelain and late 18th century examples from Wedgwood and Bentley.
