Following a very generous bequest from Freda Hammerton, the first floor display area has been transformed to showcase the museum’s fine collections of items relating to watermen and to the local Twining family.

Also featured are displays covering Whitton, Teddington and the Hamptons.

The display cabinets were fitted by AM Systems to a design by museum historian Ed Harris.
