The Twickenham Museum wishes to acknowledge the support received from the following:

The website has been created by means of a generous grant from the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and our brilliant consultant Ian Browne from HB Creativity has designed and developed our new website.

Text has been specially written or edited by a number of contributors: Dr T H R Cashmore, Brian Louis Pearce, Pamela Ching, Vic Rosewarne, Ed Harris, John Sheaf, Joan Heath, Anthony Beckles Willson, Peter Payan, Ken Breen, Jane Greene, Dianne Cutlack, Sarah Mallen, Michael Lee, Paul Gibbons, Rodney M Bennett and Robert Youngs.

Pictorial information comes from private collections and contributors and donations to the museum. The resources of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames Local Studies Library (courtesy of Jane Baxter) and Orleans House Gallery have been invaluable.

Bibliographical sources (“further reading”) are noted where relevant. Publications of the Borough of Twickenham Local History Society over many years are an important source of information.
